Dr. Jordan Pastorek A United States Air Force veteran, Dr. Pastorek attended the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training program to earn his Air Force pilot wings. In the following years he graduated from Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge, and successfully completed medical school in 2002 at the Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Pastorek finished his residency at University Medical Center in Lafayette, Louisiana in 2007.
Jade Malay, DC – Jade Malay is the Founder of Apex Physical Medicine and has practiced in the Dallas Area since 1992. Her foundational specialty is chiropractic care which includes neck, back and sciatica pain. The range of specialties is broad, but connected. The root of each of the conditions is lifestyle choices from diet to work, lifestyle, or environment. She finds and treats the cause of problem, not merely the symptom.Se also leadsher industry in a non-invasive treatment for lower back, neck and sciatica pain caused by bulging or herniated discs. For true non-surgical decompression, she uses the DRX 9000 and DRX 9000C, new technologies for gentle, yet effective, results.
Using technology to improve quality of life extends to other areas of her practice as well. She and the medical staff are experienced in the use of lasers for muscle, joint pain, and the burning skin sensation or tingling of neuropathy. She is Certified from Bridgeport University in the following areas: Mastering Functional Blood Chemistry, Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis, and Mastering the Thyroid. She is experienced in the area of clinical nutrition as it applies to various metabolic issues and its affects on the muskuloskeletal system and the body as a whole. She is a graduate of Lewisville (Texas) High School and proud Baylor University 1988 Alumni. She received her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Parker College of Chiropractic in 1992. Post doctorate degrees include a Diplomate in Chiropractic Orthopedics, of which there are less than 400 across the United States.
Jennifer Wilson, FNP-BC
Jennifer is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society and Golden Key International Honor Society. Jennifer has a passion for nursing, choosing to practice based on the motto: “Do all the good you can, in all the ways you can, to all the people you can, as long as you can.” In her spare time, she enjoys cheering on her beloved New Orleans Saints football, running, and spending time with her family.
Anneshia Scott, DC – Dr. Anniesha Scott, D.C. graduated from Parker University in 2010. As a Kansas native, she received her BA in Human Biology from the University of Kansas. Dr. Scott currently resides in Plano, TX with her husband and 3 children. In her off time she serves on the worship team at Grace Revolution Church in Irving , TX. Dr. Scott has a passion for health and wellness and enjoys educating her patients on exercise and nutrition.
Hesper Lana Fang, DPT – was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, but she moved to Texas as soon as she could. To the surprise of everyone who knew her growing up, she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in 2017 from UNT Health Science Center. Hesper is passionate about providing patient-centered care and believes that physical therapy has the power to change lives. An active member of the Texas Physical Therapy Association and American Physical Therapy Association since 2014, Hesper has been vocal about the importance of physical therapy in the healthcare continuum. While at UNTHSC she worked on research projects pertaining to animal-assisted therapy and the mechanisms behind diabetic foot ulceration, both of which were presented at TPTA and APTA Annual Conferences. Her research project titled, “The Effects of Animal-Assisted Therapy on Older Adults with Dementia” was presented at the World Confederation for Physical Therapy Congress in Cape Town, South Africa in 2017. Hesperhas had the opportunity to practice in multiple settings and locations including in Hawaii and Africa. She enjoys bringing her eclectic approach into her physical therapy practice.
Hesper has a B.S. degree in Marine and Freshwater Biology from UT Austin. She retains a love for science, the outdoors, and marine and avian life. An avid birdwatcher, she has seen and counted 404 bird species in the US and 770 worldwide. On Fridays she volunteers at a raptor rehabilitation center, helping care for injured hawks, falcons, and owls. In her off time she enjoys drawing/painting, playing musical instruments, and hanging out with her parrots and her dog, Boomer. While not one to boast, when pressed, Hesper will admit that she has a greater knowledge of the Simon and Garfunkel catalog than most adults her age.
Kelsey Glatts, New Patient Coordinator – Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Kelsey moved to Texas in June 2017. She received her bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Pittsburgh. Here at Apex, Kelsey coordinates the stem cell and thyroid events in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. When she is not working, Kelsey loves to go on adventures with her dog.
Scott Ollison – Scott has been a licensed massage therapist 1999. Scott attended massage school at New Life Massage School in Atlanta, Georgia. Scott has been a team member with Dr. Malay since 2000 and has definitely won the employee longevity award! Scott is the main DRX 9000 Decompression Technician and has comprehensive knowledge and experience with this machine. Scott also assists with rehab, physical testing, and x-rays. Scott’s passion is baseball. Scott played minor league baseball in his glory days.
Chandler Perry- has been with Apex since 2011. She has a A.S. in Kinesiology, Nutrition, and Health science. She is currently working on her B.A. in Kinesiology at TWU. Her ultimate goal is to be a Physical Therapist, and continue her work in helping others.
Diana Lopez – Diana has been with Apex since 2015 as an office assistant. She is currently working on her B.A. in Sociology at the University of North Texas. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
